Nirmala Higher Secondary School Aluva, established in 1962 is owned and managed by the congregation, Sisters of the Destitute (SD Sisters), St.Mary’s Province, Chunangamvely. Nirmala HSS aims at imparting quality education to the budding youngsters of our society by providing value based education that creates confident, competent and morally mature individuals who will always be a credit to the society at large.
The Convocation Ceremony of our Kindergarten students will be conducted on Friday, 28th March 2025 at the Assembly Ground. The event will start at around 10 AM.

Children’s Day was celebrated with enthusiasm, honoring the legacy of Jawaharlal Nehru and focusing on children’s rights and well-being.
These events were celebrated with grandeur, featuring dramatic performances, musical renditions, traditional dances, Guruvandanam, and Onappattu competitions. The celebrations provided a culturally rich experience for all attendees.
The Christmas celebrations included card-making, cake-cutting, carol singing, and a skit on the nativity of Jesus performed by Class 6 students. ** Fr. Athul Maliekkal, Assistant Vicar of St. Dominic’s Church,** delivered an inspiring speech on embracing the true spirit of Christmas.
